DESCRIPTION: Steven Severin, best known as founding member of the legendary Siouxsie & the Banshees, weaves intense and dark musical tapestries for a number of iconoclastic silent films, including, what many consider the very first surrealist movie, Germaine Dulac's "The Seashell & the Clergyman". The music on this disc forms the basis of his current touring show, "Music For Silents". Severin has just completed his first solo US tour, which was well received throughout the country and culminated in two sell-out nights at Los Angeles' Silent Movie Theater.
