"Sinsemilla Dreams" showcases a mischievous side of Danny Hyde's twisted psyche, bringing you over an hour of bizarre, mystic rhythms with ambient interludes and orchestral intermissions. In addition to the vocal talents of Joanna DeSyne and the late Jhonn Balance (RIP), several other musicians have lent their remixing talents to this disc. This includes: Andrew Sega, who has remixed bands such as Delerium. Also, Andreas Meyer, whose groundbreaking "electro-industrial" project Forma Tadre turned many heads over a decade ago with his "Lovecraftian" inspired "Navigator" album. All remixes were made using technology that was available at the time each track was originally recorded. This maintains a decidedly nostalgic quality, yet "updates" this essential Hyde work over a decade later since its original manifestation. Packaged in full colour digipak. ARTIST: BLACK SUN PRODUCTIONS TITLE: OperettAmorale LABEL: DIVINE FREQUENCY   DESCRIPTION: Massimo & Pierce of Black Sun Productions are notorious for their collaboration with Coil in some of the band's most iconoclastic live installations as well as for their epic performance project Plastic Spider Thing.   operettAmorale is Massimo & Pierce's personal tribute to the poetry of German poet, playwright and thinker Bertolt Brecht (1898 - 1956). The album is composed of 11 classic Brecht's songs, here revisited according to Massimo & Pierce's irreverent attitude. Massimo & Pierce invited some of their friends to contribute to operettAmorale. Coil recorded the song A List of Wishes (one of the latest studio performances of Johnn Balance, whom passed away short after this recording) purposely for this album. The Ballad of Sexual Dependency is here delivered by the incomparable voice of Lydia Lunch and HR Giger contributed with the cover artwork and a vocal cameo appearance on Seeräuber-Jenny.   operettAmorale was produced by Massimo & Pierce in collaboration with Larsen's member Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo, whom also provided some original music and the acoustic arrangements. ARTIST: CENTROZOON TITLE: Angel Liquor LABEL: DIVINE FREQUENCY   DESCRIPTION:  Featuring over 50 minutes of foreboding electric ambience, Centrozoon’s “Angel Liquor” creates dark atmospheres which pulse and glisten like the ominous calm before a shimmering electronic storm. The term, Angel Liquor, refers to the spiritual nature of music: the muse, the good fairy, the angelic, the spirits. It's minimal yet spacey ambient music for open minds, featuring subtle multi-channel guitar treatments and quirky, warbling synths. This recording was created in real-time, with only minor editing and post-processing. Audiophile analogue signal paths were used during mixdown and mastering to further enhance the organic and complex fractal nature of the compositions. DivF06 Centrozoon 'Angel Licquor' Angel Liquor is the fifth album by the eclectic pop duo of Markus Reuter and Bernhard Wöstheinrich. The loops were constructed using random "scissors clips" of Mahler's 5th Symphony and thus reflect the pastoral feel of his original composition. The music on this disc forms the basis of his current touring show, "Music For Silents". ARTIST: WANDER TITLE: S/T LABEL: DIVINE FREQUENCY   DESCRIPTION: You could be excused for being confused. Like all previous albums the new Wander album for Divine Frequency is entitled "Wander".  Blame it on Frans de Waard and Freek Kinkelaar's conceptual sense of humor. You might know these boys from Beequeen, where they combine soundscapes with pop songs. When they feel like a day out they disguise themselves as Wander, and concentrate themselves on organ drones. For Wander this album is another step forward; these recordings (mostly created on ancient and dangerous synthesizers and open microphones) take Wander back to the 70's with an open, spacious sound. It's quite good for falling asleep. Freek calls this Wander's "Tangerine Dream" album but since he doesn't own any Tangerine Dream albums, he could be wrong.
