AKA MEME by MERZBOW was first released on cassette in 1983 on Masami’a own label ZSF Produkt and on V2 Uitgave (a Sub-label of V2 Organisation). The tape was later re-released in other two editions but is long out of print and impossible to find.
This is Indusatrial-Noise from the early years, made by the master of Japanoise. Recordings that mix many different sounds that including ritual-sounds, vocals, found-sounds, treated-guitar, many different rhythms, noise…. and a wired and wide range of other bubbling and rumbling sounds! A total MERZEXPERIENCE!
