But listen to the “kaoscitron” tracks first. They’re a nod to hip-hop and industrial dirty beat, with Merbow textures. Beats and rhythm have always been an important Merzbow motif, and “kaoscitron” can be said its latest chapter. “Merz Beat” has many fans, and this album won’t disappoint. And there simply no words for the analogue noise flood like the explosion of electronic sound in “flamingo cloud”, bringing immense pleasure in the intense noise acoustics, which won’t soon be forgotten.
