This is the first ever English translation of Het Gejuich Was Massaal (Dutch for The Cheering Was Massive) by Jeroen Vedder and Jerry Goossens, originally published in Dutch in 1996. It’s a history of punk in The Netherlands from 1976 to 1982. Now entirely re-designed by Studio Bertin, with loads of new photographs, an extended discography (including many images) and a section devoted to fanzine covers. It’s a must-have for anyone who wants a good, solid history of punk in The Netherlands. This is the first and so far only English language publication dedicated to this subject.
